Paul and Andrea decided to relocate to Kelowna from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for a new job opportunity and you can be sure that they were a little nervous and unsure. Luckily they had friends that had dealt with Rob at Kelowna Life previously and connected us with Paul and Andrea. This is the story about their relocation to Kelowna and their new Kelowna life:
My husband, Paul, received a job offer based out of Kelowna and we decided that he should take it. We had been living overseas for 13 years in the UAE and had never been to Kelowna before. British Columbia is vastly different than the UAE but we were committed to the move.
Our first visit was in April 2017 where we wanted to get a feel for the city and started to look for a house. Our friends highly recommended Rob at Kelowna Life. Rob showed us numerous neighborhoods and gave us insight to the different areas of Kelowna but ultimately, Upper Mission caught our eye. Our friends already lived in this area and it felt like a great fit overall. Before we knew it, Rob had found our Kelowna dream home in Upper Mission- we were very pleased with his service overall.
Moving to Kelowna has been a very positive change for us. It has a great vibe with so much to offer. People told us to expect company and it’s true. Our first visitors arrived 3 days after moving into the house and everyone has loved it! Our son came for a weekend visit and has decided to stay and get a job here he likes it so much.
We are very active people and have already enjoyed the hiking and biking and are very much looking forward to the ski season! Oh, and we love wine, so being in wine country is just an added bonus!
